


SevaChildren
is a Norwegian based organization with its headquarters in Oslo, Norway. Our value base is built on equal rights for all, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, disability and social status.
The organization was established in 2011 with the aim of combating child poverty in India. We consist of two independent organizations:
1. SevaChildren with its headquarter in Oslo, Norway is the umbrella organization
2. SevaChildren India, headquartered in Bangalore, India, acts as the organization's extended arm and implements all our development projects.
SevaChildren's focus is India where most of the orphaned children are living.
- 80 million of the world's 143 million orphans live in India. This corresponds to
almost 16 times the entire population of Norway.
